Spray Coating Unit

Spray Coating Unit is suitable for film coating of tablets and granules. It consists mainly pressure vessel, pneumatic motor with stirrer, spray nozzle assembly and necessary controls. The position of spray nozzle can be adjusted at required angles. There are two types of arrangement for spray coating.

1) This system consists of a pressure tank with air motor. The tank is pressurized by compressed air to get uniform atomized conical spray through specially designed S.S nozzle. Needle valves are provided to control air flow and liquid .Vessel top is provided with charging hole, safety valve, pressure gauge, pressure release valve, air inlet and liquid outlets. This unit is useful in flameproof area.

2) Second system consists of a solution preparation tank of fixed volume. this tank has a bottom or side discharge with valve. A peristatic pump is accompanied further to pump the solution from the tank to the spray nozzles. The spray nozzles are specially designed to provide a better pattern in spraying the solution.
